Call for ParticipationConference theme: Navigating the Torrents of Technology. This year there are 46 mini-tracks arranged into nine categories, or tracks. Completed papers (maximum 5,000 words), research in progress (2,500 words), reports from doctoral dissertations either in process (2,000 words) or completed (5,000 words), and panels or debates are welcome in all nine tracks. In addition, a special track is offered, containing teaching/curriculum innovations and tutorials. More details are provided about each type of submission. This year, several mini-tracks have partnered with journals to provide fast tracking of best papers. Visit the Fast Tracking page for more details.
Submit Your Best Work: All papers will be considered for best paper awards, awarded by tracks and/or mini-tracks. Also, papers will be published in an abbreviated format so that publication will not impair the paper's ability to be submitted in longer form to a journal. Electronic Submissions: In advance of the deadlines below, abstracts should be e-mailed to mini-track chairs, and if approved, submissions must be made electronically using the official submission system at http://www.aisreview.aisnet.org/AMCIS2003/submit/. It is the responsibility of the authors to furnish a usable, camera-ready copy of their paper that will fit in the allotted space, by the due date. What to submit: All papers and proposals must be the original work of the authors, and written in English. The Conference Proceedings will publish the best papers as well as abstracts of all accepted submissions. While submissions can follow any generally-accepted style guidelines, final camera-ready copy must follow the style guidelines of the MIS Quarterly, in a single-column, single-spaced format. At least one author of each accepted paper must be registered for the Conference for the paper to appear in the Proceedings. Reviewing: Papers will be peer-reviewed by a double-blind system. Authors should ensure that Word submissions are blinded: In Word XP (others might be similar), load the document, click Tools, Options, and Security tab, and click the two options: Remove personal information... and Warn before printing, saving, or sending... Then save your document.) Questions? Questions about particular submissions should be made to the chair of the mini-track to which you have made your submission. Questions about submission procedures should be made to Nicholas Romano, Jr., Program Review Chair, at Nicholas-romano@mstm.okstate.edu. Other questions about the program should be directed to Dennis Galletta (galletta@katz.pitt.edu) and Jeanne Ross (jross@mit.edu), Program Co-Chairs. Please send your notes to both of us simultaneously. Deadlines:
